PURPOSE:To develop a material for continuous casting molds excellent in various characteristics, by adding P, Li, or further Al and other elements to a Cu alloy containing specific amounts of Cr and Zr as a continuous casting mold and by controlling inevitable impurity content. CONSTITUTION:As a material for continuous casting molds and rolls for cooling for manufacturing amorphous alloy foils, a Cu alloy prepared by adding, by weight, 0.001-0.2%, in total, of P and/or Li to the Cu alloy which contains 0.1-2.5% Cr and 0.01-1.0% Zr and in which inevitable impurity content is controlled to <0.3% or further incorporating, independently or in combination, 0.001-3.0% Al or 0.001-1.0%, in total, of one or two elements among Fe, Ni, Mn, Zn, Si, Sn, Mg, Ti, Co, B, and Ag to the above is manufactured. In this way, a Cu alloy material excellent in strength, thermal conductivity, and resistance to wear, thermal fatigue crack, and thermal deformation at ordinary and high temps. can be obtained. |
