PURPOSE:To form an discharge water system in one system and reduce the length of a discharge piping and to make easy the discharge water treatment by reducing its amount, by using a cyclone to separate solid matters and liquid matters and returning to a hopper water that contains substantially no ash and using the overflow water from the hopper for transporting slurry. CONSTITUTION:Ash 30 that falls down from a fire furnace sinks into the water in a bottom hopper 11, and it is pulverized by a crusher 12 and led to a cyclone 14 to sink to the bottom, so that the upper side is filled with water. This water that contains no ash is sucked by a pump 21 and blown into a hopper 11 from a jetting nozzle 19. The ash is mixed with the water supplied as slurry from an discharge pipe route 27 and then discharged to the outside of the system. The water discharged from an overflow opening 24 is recycled through a pump 26 and a pipe route 25. Part of the water in the ash hopper 11 is discharged through the discharge pipe route 27, but that amount is replenished from a make-up pipe route 29.
