PURPOSE:To suck fuel from individual bottom sections with a single fuel pump by communicating the individual bottom sections with a siphon pipe having an air vent valve in a fuel tank divided into two or more vessels by a protruded section at the bottom. CONSTITUTION:Fuel tank 1 is provided with a protruded section 3 for a space to pass a drive shaft 2 and an exhaust pipe 8 below the tank, thereby the tank bottom is divided into the first and second bottom sections 4, 5, and a fuel pump 6 is provided on the second bottom section 4. In this case, a siphon pipe 10 communicating both bottom sections 4, 5 is provided astride the protruded section 3 in the fuel tank 1. An air vent valve 11 is fitted at the tip of the siphon pipe 10 and is constituted so as to release the air in the siphon pipe 10 to the outside from a through hole 15 while pushing up a ball valve 12 as fuel is fed into the fuel tank 1 and the oil surface is raised.
