摘要 PURPOSE:To easily and accurately input reference data without being affected by an optical system by inputting original reference data on the design drawing, etc., of a printed circuit board to be inspected, and picking up an image of a reference printed circuit board and comparing it with the original reference data. CONSTITUTION:The design drawing A is placed on an XY stage 2 and its image is picked up by a TV camera 1 and A/D-converted to extract feature parameters of the coordinates, shape, area, center of gravity, etc., of each component, which are stored in a memory 5. Then, the reference board B is mounted on the XY stage 2 and its image is picked up to extract feature parameters of each component, which are compared with the feature parameters of the design drawing A. When both data do not coincide with each other, the board B is repaired to obtain the board B where accurate components are mounted. Then, accurate reference data are inputted from the accurate board B and the camera 1 is controlled by a CPU 3 to pick up an image of respective components in each area on the board B, so that the image is displayed on a CRT 6. When components are displayed correctly, that is inputted and when corrections need to be made because of the distortion, light quantity variation, etc., of a lens system, that is inputted and stored.
