This invention is concerned with a sounding-signal recording and reviving method equipment of the video tape recoder which can record/ revive sounding-signals to digital signals. The soundingHead is provided for the purpose of tracking the sounding-track to the hellical scan screen, and the sounding-head is provided for the upper drum of the rotating drum. Also the sounding-head is set up to track the sounding-track rapidly. Then a Hi-Fi system is obtained by recording the digital signals of the soundingsignal tracked on the hellical scan screen.
