The invention relates to a conveying device for powdery masses and/or small parts, in particular buttons or parts thereof, having a fan which produces a partial vacuum and is connected to a conveying line for the purpose of sucking up the material to be conveyed and having a discharge opening for the ejection of the conveyed material. While providing a simple construction, for discontinuous ejection of particular quantities of conveyed material the invention proposes that, on the far side, the conveying line (8) open into a container (13) for conveyed material, which is connected in the lower region to a discharge opening (9) which, as a result of the partial vacuum of the conveying air, is closed by a valve which releases the discharge opening (9) for the purpose of ejection of the conveyed material (10) when the partial vacuum is no longer present. <IMAGE>
