Floor conveyor

The floor conveyor comprises essentially a platform for receiving heavy items and a push and pull device for pushing and pulling items on the platform. For connecting the push and pull device to the item, at least one clamping piece, for example in the form of an expanding clip, which automatically expands when a force is exerted, is attached to the push and pull device. By this means, the expanding clip jams in a slot in the item, as a result of which the item can be pulled on the platform. To release the connection between the expanding clip and the slot in the item, an eccentric shaft is provided which reverses the expansion of the expanding clip. As a result of the automatic expanding of the expanding clip owing to the exertion of a force in the pulling direction, a simple and quick connection between the push and pull device and the item is possible.
