摘要 The vibrating classifier for classifying lumpy solids having different densities, such as for example coal and refuse material, into light and heavy material comprises a case (1) which receives the material to be classified at one end, is mounted so as to be capable of vibrating and, in a working position, is inclined towards the discharge end. Located in the interior of the case (1) is an air-permeable jig bed (7), through which air can be introduced into the material being treated. An output channel (9) for heavy material, which is positioned transversely and is open at the bottom adjoins the discharge-side end of the jig bed (7), the outlet opening (10) of the output channel being closed by a sluice, for example a cellular wheel sluice (11). Provided above the output channel (9) is a vertically adjustable overflow (12) for the outlet of the light material. Furthermore, attached to the case (1), preferably on its upper side, are two unbalance drivers (6) contrarotating in equal phase, for example vibration motors, the axes of rotation of which run in a plane parallel to the plane of the case. A linear vibration is generated here, which causes the case (1) to vibrate harmonically up and down over its whole length. With the aid of the cellular wheel sluice (11) at the output channel (9) for the heavy material, the output of the heavy material can be controlled in accordance with the respective conditions.
