PURPOSE:To make the change and the modification of data impossible by providing a data write-only terminal and a read-only terminal to an IC card and electrically cutting a line connecting the write-only terminal with the IC after the input of the data. CONSTITUTION:After the input of the data, the X part of the input line 5L is cut. The cut X of the input line 5L is performed most commonly according to the method in which a large inversed current from the write-only terminal 5 is impressed to melt, and in the other way, a terminal exclusively used for cutting the line may be provided and a current for cutting is fed from this terminal to perform the cut X. Thereby, in the card 1, the writing and the change or the like of the data on an EPROM4 of an IC chip 2 cannot be performed but only the reading of the data from the read-only terminal 6 can be executed. |
