The invention discloses a device for connecting shuttering panels or the like arranged at approximately right angles with respect to one another, which exhibits a rigid crossmember which is of angular configuration and in each case one adjustable clamping claw on each of the two crossmember legs which run at rightangles with respect to one another. The clamping claws project beyond the inner side of the relevant leg of the crossmember and can move into the clamping position by means of an actuating element, at least one of the two clamping claws being adjustably mounted in the longitudinal direction of the relevant leg of the crossmember.
