PURPOSE:To reduce a trouble for replacing a cassette, and to efficiently execute processing of plural sheets, by constituting the titled reader so that a sheet carrying means executes carrying-in and carrying-out of the sheet for an arbitrary cassette in a cassette holding part. CONSTITUTION:The titled reader is provided with a sheet carrying means 40 consisting of an endless belt for taking out a sheet 1 from an arbitrary cassette 2 in a cassette holding part 10 and carrying it to a reading part 20 and an erasing part 30, a roller, a guide plate, etc., and in its part, a mobile carrying part 41 which can move up and down is formed so as to face and contact selectively the end part of an arbitrary cassette in the cassette 2 in the cassette holding part 10. On the mobile carrying part 41, a cassette cover opening mechanism is provided, and first of all, a cover part 2a is opened, a sheet taking-out roller 42 is moved to a position indicated by a solid line, and the sheet 1 is pressed against the inside wall surface of the upper side of the cassette 2 and taken out to the outside. The sheet 1 whose erasion is ended in the erasing part 30 is carried in the direction as indicated with arrows A11, A12, and carried into the cassette 2.
