A gas pressure regulator with a servo-regulator (20) contains a plunger coil (21) of a control pressure device (30) for generating a preset control pressure acting on the regulator diaphragm (29) of the servo-regulator. The plunger coil plunges into a pole slot (22) of a permanent magnet (23). In another case, the control pressure device contains, in place of the plunger coil, a control pressure diaphragm which is subjected to the adjustable pressure of a controlling medium in a control pressure chamber and acts via a rigid connecting member on the servo-regulator diaphragm. <IMAGE>
