PURPOSE:To cause bypass vapor to flow to a safe space within a condenser to prevent corrosion from occurring within the condenser by specifying the ratio of the diameter of each of nozzle holes of a spray nozzle opening in a vapor tube of an atomic power plant to the thickness of a nozzle plate. CONSTITUTION:In a vapor tube which is provided in a bypass system leading from a vapor generator of a thermal-atomic power plant to a condenser thereof and through which bypass vapor flows, a spray nozzle for pouring water opening in the vapor tube, and a nozzle plate 20 of a thickness (t) provided at the end portion of the vapor tube and having a number of nozzle holes 19, the ratio of the nozzle hole diameter (d) to the nozzle plate thickness (t), that is, t/d is set to 0.7-2.0. Therefore, the outflow direction of vapor from the nozzle is set substantially to the nozzle axial direction. No nozzle is provided in a range where vapor comes into collision with an internal structure in a range of less than 300 d from the nozzle end surface, after the outflow of vapor, and any nozzle hole is provided to set nozzle holes so that vapor flows out into other space. By this procedure, no corrosion occurs within the condenser, and collision surface pressures to respective parts of the drum body of the condenser can be lowered, and hence the temperature and pressure reducing device becomes safe.
