<p>The ignition coil, in particular for a motor vehicle internal combustion engine, is of the closed-circuit type and consists of a central core (1) around which are coaxially disposed the primary (11) and secondary (21) windings, and of a double magnetic circuit for flux return (2), the whole being housed in a plastic box (30). The coil comprises support means (12, 22a, 22b) able to support the secondary winding (21) in levitation over and around the primary winding (11), means which are constructed such that, at all points within a given space, they define a substantially maximum gap between the said windings and the magnetic circuit.</p> |
