PURPOSE:To expand a small displacement with a simple structure by expanding the displacement of a layer-built ceramics driving element by a slide type displacement expanding mechanism and expanding furthermore the expanded displacement by a known displacement expanding mechanism to drive a head chip. CONSTITUTION:When a voltage is applied to a laminated ceramics driving element 10, this driving element is displaced to displace a slide plate 6 in the direction of an arrow 21. By displacement of the slide plate 6, a slide part 3 of a head attaching member 2 is displaced in the direction of an arrow 22. Relations between displacement (a) and displacement (b) are determined by an angle theta of the slide plate 6, and the value of b/a (expansion rate) is increased when the angle theta is widened. For example, when the angle theta is 64 deg., the value of b/a is two and displacement is expanded twice. This expanded displacement (b) is furthermore expanded by the displacement expanding mechanism based on the length between a conventional fixing screw 5 and the sldie plate 6 and that between the fixing screw 5 and the head chip to drive the head chip 1.
