PURPOSE:To reduce the evaporation and scattering of the inclusion at the manufacture and prevent the deterioration of property, by sealing a metallic halide and mercury, in a form of metallic amalgam and a halide mercury, and then reacting them to convert into a metallic halide and a single element mercury. CONSTITUTION:The inclusions 8 are 20mg of mercury iodide Hg I2, 17mg of tin Sn, a tin amalgam including 20wt% Sn, and the like, poured from the unsealed opening 1b end of a luminous tube bulb 1, and, at the unsealed opening 1b, a glass solder plastic 6A formed by compressing a mixture powder mainly of alumina and the like is arranged. By heating a heat radiant body 9 through the induction of a high frequency wave induction heater, an airtight sealing is formed. Then, by a light aging, the Hg I2 and the Sn-Hg amalgam enclosed in the luminous tube are heated and evaporated in the arc, and converted to Sn I2 and Hg, and a desired tin metallic halide lamp luminous tube can be obtained.
