PRODUCTION DEVICE OF CARBON FIBER BY CENTRIFUGAL SPINNING

PURPOSE:To enable continuous discharge of produced carbon fiber from a spinning apparatus without stopping the apparatus, by placing a cylinder encircling a spinning face of a centrifugal spinning nozzle and providing a fiber discharging port and air-suction ports to the cylinder in a specific state. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder 22 is placed in a manner encircling a cylindrical face (spinning face) of a centrifugal spinning nozzle 20. A port for discharging fiber 11 is bored to the lowest part of the cylindrical wall along tangential direction of the inner wall. A suction apparatus 25 is attached to the port. A number of air-suction ports 23 are bored to the cylinder 22 in a manner that the air stream blasted through the port 23 is slightly deviated from the tangential direction of the inner face of the cylinder 22 to the center and directed toward the fiber-discharging port.
