PURPOSE:To obtain a dielectric resonator whose coupling degree is adjusted optionally by changing the physical distance between a coupling line and the dielectric resonator from the outside of a cut-off waveguide or a cavity resonator. CONSTITUTION:A dielectric rod 8 of a low dielectric constant is fixed to the dielectric resonator 2 at a position deviated from the structual turning center, supported by the cut-off waveguide 1 and the resonator 2 is turned freely around the dielectric rod 8 from the outside of the waveguide 1. The coupling line 4 is provided in parallel with the dielectric resonator 2 and fixed to the wall face of the waveguide by a microwave plug or the like. The dielectric resonator 2 is turned by turning the dielectric rod 8 from the outside of the waveguide 1 and the physical distance with the coupling line 4 is changed by the effect of eccentricity to obtain an optional electric coupling.
