BLEACHING AGENT PARTICLE ENCAPSULATED BY SOAP

Hard spherical bleaching particles are disclosed whose composition is an intimately dispersed agglomerated core mixture of an active halogen oxidizing material, an inorganic diluent salt and a binder. The cores are coated with a mixture of from about 70-85% of a C16-C18 fatty acid soap and from about 15-30% of a C12-C14 fatty acid soap. A method for bleaching substrates as well as a process for preparing the bleach particles are disclosed.
