PURPOSE:To realize an antenna with a high gain with simple structure by fitting a conical horn to the front face of a spiral antenna. CONSTITUTION:A conical metal-made horn 6 is fitted to the front face of the spiral antenna comprising an antenna element 2, a connecting base 4, a cylindrical case 1, an insulation plate 41 and a feeding conductor 42. The gain in the front direction is improved by nearly 10dB by fitting the horn 6, the directive angle is reduced to realize the antenna with a sharp beam angle characteristic.
