PURPOSE:To perform processes from image exposure to the formation of an image on an image receiving material fully automatically by providing an exposing device, a heat developing device, and a transfer device. CONSTITUTION:The exposing device 200 which exposes a photosensitive pressure-sensitive heat development material S (photosensitive material) to form a latent image is provided below the sliding position of an original glass plate 2. The heat developing device 40 which heats the exposed photosensitive material S to develop its image is arranged further in front of a nip roll couple 28. The transfer device 88 consisting of backup rolls 84 and 86 for uniforming the pressure application of pressure nip rolls 80 and 82 axially is provided below a photosensitive image receiving paper superposing device 70. Consequently, the processes from the exposure to the formation of the image on the image receiving material by heat development and pressure transfer are carried out automatically by using the photosensitive pressure-sensitive heat development material and the image of high picture quality is obtained by the small-sized inexpensive device through a simple process.
