PURPOSE:To produce the titled compound under mild condition suppressing side reactions, by reacting a ketene compound with a ketone in the presence of a tin (II) alcoholate or tin (II) thiolate. CONSTITUTION:The objective compound of formula III or IV can be produced by reacting a ketene compound of formula I (R<1> and R<2> are H, halogen, alkyl, aryl, etc.) with a ketone of formula II (R<4> and R<5> are alkyl, aryl, allyl, furyl, etc.) in a solvent at -100-+20 deg.C, preferably -100-0 deg.C in the presence of a compound of formula Sn(XR<3>)2 (X is O or S; R<3> is alkyl, allyl, aryl or pyridyl). The molar ratios of the compound Sn(XR<3>)2, ketene compound and ketone are preferably 1.0/(2.0-1.0)/(2.0-0.5), especially 1.0/(1.5-1.4)/0.75. |
