PURPOSE:To obtain a compsn. having excellent antitatic properties, heat resistance, flame retardance and mechanical properties, by blending a polybutylene terephthalate resin with a metal salt of a specified alkylsulfonic acid, an orgbromine compd. and an Sb compd. CONSTITUTION:A compsn. is obtd. by blending 100pts.wt. polybutylene terephthalate with 0.01-10pts.wt. metal salt of an alkylsulfonic acid (B) of the formula (wherein R is a Cm alkyl group; R' is a Cn alkyl group; M>=2, n>=2; 6<=m-n<=30; m is a metal atom; P is the number of valence electrons of the metal M), 1-40pts.wt. org. bromine compd. (C) and 1-40pts.wt. antimony compd. (D). A bromine compd. having a bromine content of 30wt%. or above is preferred. Antimony trioxide is particularly preferred as the antimony compd. (D). |
