PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for WAIT operation by timer control in trans mission interruption processing by buffering one or more trailing padding in the internal buffer of a program. CONSTITUTION:In the case where data transmission is made to other computer system etc., by a computer system through a communication line 9 according to bisynchronous protocol, PADL indicates leading padding and PADT indicates trailing padding, and sent out in order to a communication line. One or more PADT, i.e. trailing padding, are added in excess to data, and set in a transmis sion buffer in a program. In this way, transmission of trailing padding is made possible without making timer control at the time of completion of data trans mission.
