PURPOSE:To improve the display quality of a liquid crystal video display device by using the liquid crystal video display device of a color interlace scanning type. CONSTITUTION:A liquid crystal video display panel 100, a horizontal scanning circuit 200 and a vertical scanning circuit 300 configures the liquid crystal video display device. In order to attain a color display, the horizontal scanning circuit 200 is provided with plural video signal input terminals 203 (R, G, B). A video signal line 206 is connected alternately to left and right picture elements 101 at the display panel 100 so as to be in matching with a color filter. The interlacing scanning is performed, the two gate signal lines are scanned in pairs at an odd number field and the two gate signal lines are scanned in pairs at an even number field by shifting the scanning start gate signal line by one. |
