PURPOSE:To make it possible to prolong the life of a circular saw without deterioration in machinability of grinding stones even in the exposure of holding legs due to the wear of the grinding stones by arranging the grinding stone holding legs neighboring with each other in the peripheral direction of the base plate of a circular saw eccentrically in the thickness direction of the base plate body. CONSTITUTION:Each of grinding stone holding legs 6a and 6b is arranged being faced eccentrically with each other in the thickness direction of a base plate body 5. For this reason, in the case that the grinding stones 7 fitted on the grinding stone holding legs 6a and 6b are weared because of being used, andt the end faces A and B of the legs 6a and 6b are exposed from the peripheral faces C of the grinding stones 7, the end faces A and B are exposed eccentrical in the thickness direction in relation to the peripheral faces C of the grinding stones 7. Even in the case that the end faces A and B are exposed from the peripheral faces C of the grinding stones 7, therefore, the machinability of the grinding stones 7 will hardly be deteriorated, and this leads to the prolonga tion of the machinability of the grinding stone 7 until such wearing of the grinding stones 7 as reaching the base seats 5a. |
