PURPOSE:To obtain a large-sized rotary transformer and to easily reproduce an assembling precision by adhering the rotor and the stator of the rotary transformer to respective supporting members and attaching the rotor to an upper rotating cylinder attachably and detachably and attaching the stator to a prepressure applying member or a fixed shaft similarly. CONSTITUTION:A supporting member 22 is fitted to the inside of an upper rotating cylinder 2 and is centered and is clamped by screws 23 in three positions. Notches 30 are formed on the upper rotating cylinder 2 for the purpose of avoiding the interference with head parts of screws 23, and the outside diameter of the rotary transformer is increased as much as possible. A rotary transformer stator 21 is arranged in a rotary transformer rotor 20 with a prescribed gap between them. The rotary transformer stator 21 is adhered to a holder 24 as the supporting member, and this holder 24 is fitted to a center shaft 3 and is centered and is fixed to a prepressure applying member 19 by screws 26.
