PRODUCTION OF ALUMINUM ALLOY SHEET MATERIAL CONTAINING TIN

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain an aluminum alloy sheet material which contains tin and is free from the cracks to be generated by working by subjecting an aluminum alloy ingot contg. a specific ratio of Sn to rolling after extrusion. CONSTITUTION:The aluminum alloy ingot which contains <=0.01wt% Sn and contains the balance Al and inevitable impurities is once subjected to extrusion prior to rolling to break down the casting structure of the ingot to form the new structure. The ingot is then subjected to rolling by which the good aluminum alloy sheet material having no alligatoring and edge cracking is obtd.
