PURPOSE:To prevent illegal access by many unspecified persons by sending subscriber information corresponding to a terminal equipment accessing a host device from the exchange network to the host device and comparing and collating the sent subscriber information and the registered subscriber information in advance. CONSTITUTION:When the access to a host 3 is allowed to a terminal equipment 1.1, the subscriber information corresponding to the terminal equipment 1.1 is registered in the host device in advance. When the terminal equipment 1.1 accesses the host 3, an exchange network 2 receiving a call from the terminal equipment 1.1 informs the subscriber information of the calling terminal equipment 1.1 to the host device 3. The host device 3, based on the subscriber information, collates whether or not the terminal equipment 1.1 allows the access. The result of collation is excellent because the terminal equipment 1.1 allows the access and the data transmission/reception is started.
