<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the toner from a cleaning device from scattering by closing an aperture opposed to an image carrier of the cleaning device interlocking with loading/unloading operation until the end of the loading/unloading operation. CONSTITUTION:A cleaner 14 is attached to a cartridge body 30 by a rotary shaft so as to be freely rocked, and before the loading of the cartridge body 30, rotated by a tension spring 25 and a stopper 27 is abutted upon the right end 28a of a stopper groove 28. Under the status that the cleaning blade 35 is superposed to the inside of a rake sheet 37 loaded to a rake sheet arm 36, the aperture of the cleaner 14 is closed. When the cartridge 30 is loaded along right and left guide rails 32, 31, the release rib 34 of the cleaner 14 is moved to the step rail surface 32-1 of the left guide rail 32 and the cleaner 14 is rotated around the rotary shaft 23 in the counterclockwise direction. Consequently, the lower end of the cleaning blade 35 is moved upper backward and an aperture is formed between the cleaning blade 35 and a rake sheet 37.</p> |
