CONTROL DEVICE FOR A PRINTING PRESS

A computing device is provided for controlling the setting of adjusting elements of a printing press, by means of which the inkfilm thickness profile, the moisture-film thickness profile and/or the duct roller lift may be varied. The said computing device converts the setting values corresponding to the zonal ink demand into setting values for the printing press connected to the control device. The corresponding setting values are passed on in digitally encoded form, from a data memory, to the said computing device where they are further processed.
