<p>PURPOSE:To measure with a high accuracy a distance and its rate of change, by performing simultaneously a signal processing of two sequences of a sequence for measuring a distance after having executed a pulse compression, and a sequence for measuring a distance by a centroid circuit which is not brought to a pulse compression. CONSTITUTION:A transmitted wave from an excitation oscillator 5 is brought to a frequency modulation for a pulse compression by a pulse expander 4 and becomes a long pulse, and radiated from an antenna 1 through a power amplifier 3, and a transmission/reception switching device 2. A reflected wave from a target is received by the antenna 1, and inputted to a pulse compressor 8 and a detector 9 through the transmission/reception switching device 2 and a mixer 6. An output of the pulse compressor 8 is inputted successively to the detector 9 and a distance measuring circuit 10, and an output of the detector 9 is inputted to a centroid circuit 11. A target speed calculating circuit 12 calculates a target speed, based on outputs of the distance measuring circuit 10 and the centroid circuit 11.</p> |
