PURPOSE:To improve the detection accuracy of a lightning stroke position by providing a lighting storke information informing means which informs information on a power transmission line which is struck by lighting by receiving the output of a lighting-struck power transmission line specifying means. CONSTITUTION:If a specific power-transmission line is struck by lighting, antennas 1 and 1b detect that and a lighting stroke position computing means 2 computes the lighting stroke position from the antennas 1a and 1b. The position specified by the computation is compared with position coordinates of respective power transmission systems in the area which are stored in a map data storage means 3 by a lighting-struck power transmission line specifying means 4. The means 4 inputs the name of the power-transmission line, the lighting-struck position of its aerial wire, the position of a support (steel tower, etc.) struck by lighting, the position of the power transmission nearby the lighting-struck position, etc., to the lighting information informing means 5, so that those pieces of lighting information are informed 5. Thus, the detection accuracy of the lighting position is improved.
