PURPOSE:To enhance the yield in manufacture and the damping characteristics of a leaf spring, by forming a spring material into a desired form through etching or the like in advance of adhesion by press vulcanization. CONSTITUTION:Before spring materials 1a and 1b and a rubber material 2 are laminated for adhesion by press vulcanization, the process is contrived so that the spring materials 1a and 1b can undergo the etching treatment. Therefore, each of the spring materials 1a and 1b can be etched from both sides separately. Accordingly, the etching work can be carried out in a short time, and the dimensions can be stabilized. In addition, erosion of the rubber material 2 can be prevented. Therefore, the yield in manufacture can be improved, while the damping characteristics can be enhanced. |
