PURPOSE:To prevent the change in the saturation of color by providing a delay circuit of a color difference signal, an AND circuit for inputting an inversion output of a pulse generating circuit for generating the pulse by catching a fall of an output pulse of a pulse forming circuit and the signal of the pulse forming circuit and an OR circuit. CONSTITUTION:An input color difference signal (a) is differentiated, a full wave thereof is rectified, and passed through a high pass filter, the pulse of the width of DELTAt is generated by a monostable multivibrator at the fall of the pulse signal (b), and inverted in an inverter circuit 18 to input the signals (b), (c) to the AND circuit 19 and then output the signal (d) having the interval of the pulse separated by DELTAt. A processing such as the differentiation is similarly applied to the signal (e) to obtain the pulse signal (f). When it is inputted to the AND circuit 20 together with the signal (c), an output (g) is obtained. The (d) and (g) are inputted to the OR circuit 22 and switches 11-13 are opened and closed simultaneously, making the output (g) the correction pulse. The input color difference signal is delayed slightly by passing through the delay circuit and the correction is applied by the correction pulse (g). Thereby, the saturation of color is not changed.
