PURPOSE:To detect the flow precisely, by approximating the relations among a pump head, a rotating speed, and a flow to each other, through combining two quadratic functions with each other, and after that, calculating the flow from the pump head and the rotating speed. CONSTITUTION:The relations among A pump head, a rotating speed, and a flow are approximated to each other, by combining two quadratic functions with each other. After that, the discharged flow is calculated through a multiplier 16, a subtracter 19, a multiplier 17 and a square root extracting calculator 24. In this way, it is possible to indirectly calculate the discharged flow of a pump from the rotating speed and the pump head, and to detect the discharged flow precisely over a wide range, by using an electronic computer of small storage capacity.
