PURPOSE:To slide an inside metallic die in a multi-stage in an outside metallic die, and to easily switch many kinds by providing the outside metallic die provided with upper and lower fixed die-sets, the inside metallic die provided with upper and lower movable die-sets slidably in the outside metallic die, a positioning stopper of the inside metallic die and a clamp part, on a press. CONSTITUTION:A stopper 23 is projected, an inside metallic die is positioned at a position of the first stage, clamp parts 27, 28 are operated, and the inside metallic die is fixed to an outside metallic die. In this state, a press is operated and a part A of a working material 21 is worked by a punch 19 and a die 20. Subsequently, the stopper 23 is drawn in, and clamp parts 27, 28 are unclamped. Also, a guide bush 17 and a guide post 18 of the inside metallic die remain in a state that up-and-down movable die-sets 15, 16 have been guided. Next, a stopper 24 is projected and the inside metallic die is positioned, fixed to the outside metallic die by the clamp parts 27, 28, and by the punch 19 and the die 20, a part B of the working material 21 is worked.
