PURPOSE:To attain scanning within a short period by executing intraband scanning every plural times the minimum inter-station space, executing partial scanning by a partial scanning means at the detection of a stop signal and writing tuning data in a memory device. CONSTITUTION:At the execution of the intra-band scanning changing the tuning data every plural times the minimum inter-station space by the intra-band scanning means 41, the intra-band scanning is stopped by a stop signal outputted from a stop circuit 23, and at the stop of the intra-band scanning, the tuning data are changed every minimum inter-station space by the parial scanning means 42. When the stop signal is outputted from the circuit 23 and a receiving state signal is outputted from a receiving level deciding circuit 3, the tuning data are written in a memory device 6 by a tuning data recording means 43. Thus, the time required for the intra-band scanning can be shortened.
