PURPOSE:To mount a parts detection sensor at a fixed position, to handle a counted value as a parts quantity without performing a calculation, and to improve detection accuracy by providing the detection sensor for a sprocket hole and a lead wire, and a latch circuit. CONSTITUTION:An R-S FF3 inputs the output of a sprocket hole detection sensor 1 to an input terminal S, and inputs the output of a lead wire detection sensor 2 to an input terminal R through an inverter 5. And when the terminal S is in a low level state (non-detection state of the sprocket hole), the sensor 2 detects a lead wire 9, and when the terminal R becomes a high level only once, it is latched, and a signal with the high level is outputted to an output terminal Q. Next, when the terminal S becomes high again detecting a sprocket hole 8, a latching is released, and the signal with a low level is outputted to the terminal Q. And the output signal of the terminal Q is inputted to the input terminal C of an adder counter 4, and the counter 4 counts up a pulse at the terminal Q. In this way, the parts detection sensor can be mounted at the fixed position, and the detection accuracy can be improved.
