PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for the temporary fixation of a magnetic core, and to improve productivity by forming a projection for holding the magnetic core to the outer circumferential surface of an insulating case housing a coil section in which a primary bobbin and a secondary bobbin are combined. CONSTITUTION:Windings 8, 10 are wound on a primary bobbin 7 and a secondary bobbin 9, and the primary bobbin 7 and the secondary bobbin 9 are combined, and housed in an insulating case 11. A magnetic core 12 is held to a magnetic-core holding projection 13 for the insulating case 11, and the abutting surfaces of the magnetic core 12 are welded. Space is shortened toward the outside in the shape of the magnetic-core holding projection 13 shaped to the external surface of the insulating case 11, but work in which the magnetic core 12 is inserted to the magnetic-core holding projection 13 is facilitated by tapering the nose of the projection or forming an R to the nose.
