PURPOSE:To make it possible to easily discover a troubled state, by a method wherein the measuring item switch of an automatic analyser is held to an ON- state only in such a state that an operator card is set to a reading apparatus and operation procedure and the information from the internal operation monitor apparatus of the automatic analyser are stored and displayed in this state. CONSTITUTION:A reading apparatus 3 reads the information relating to the operator inputted on the memory part of an operator card 2 and sets various measuring item switches 4 of an automatic analyser D to a usable state on the basis of said information. A memory means 7 clearly stores not only the operation procedure of each measuring item switch 4 manipulated by the operator but also the operation procedure of other switch in order to hold the same and is constituted so that the information relating to the operation state of the automatic analyser D monitored by an internal operation monitor apparatus 6 is clearly recorded in order with the elapse of time. A display means 9 displaying various operation procedures held to the memory means 7 on CRT8 is connected to the microcomputer arranged to the automatic analyser D.
