PURPOSE:To improve dispersion and fluidity of fine particle by spraying the specified amount of an organic solvent soln. contg. 10-100% fatty acid for fine powder of lime series compd. such as quick lime. CONSTITUTION:After lime series compd. such as quik lime, calcium bicarbonate and slaked lime is pulverized and graded, or in a period for crushing the raw material, 0.003-0.8wt% treatment liquid wherein >=8C fatty acid such as stearic acid and oleic acid is dissolved in an organic solvent such as kerosine and methanol is sprayed by using a spray dryer or the like and floating it in an air stream. Thereby the surface of the fine particle is coated by an organic functional group and both dispersion and fluidity are improved. Lime series compd. is extensively utilized in iron and steel industry, chemical industry, environmental pollution treatment, etc., with much merits in practical use because dispersion and fluidity are improved.
