发明名称 MODIFIER FOR FUEL
摘要 PURPOSE:To advance modification reaction of fuel at low temperature smoothly and to recover a gas having high hydrogen concentration, by inserting plural porous glass tubes of pore structure into a modification catalytic layer in order to transfer modification reaction to a formation system readily. CONSTITUTION:A raw material gas (mixture of hydrocarbon and steam) previously preheated to a given temperature is fed from a raw material feed pipe 1 to a modification catalytic layer 2 and modified into hydrogen as a main component, carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide. Pressure at hollow part of a porous glass hollow module 3 inserted into the modification catalyst is kept lower than pressure of the modification catalytic layer, pore diameter of porous membrane is selected and hydrogen is mainly permeated to a hollow side, separated and recovered. Consequently, a modified gas rich in hydrogen can be recovered through a module collecting pipe 7. A modified gas having low hydrogen concentration not recovered at the module side is fed from a pipe 10 to the outside of furnace and partially used as a fuel for heating a reaction tube so that the gas is introduced as a fuel for a burner to fuel feed pipes 13 and 14.
