PURPOSE:To prevent deformation by heat after working and to provide a frame having good accuracy by using a plastic lens and forming the lens frame by cutting. CONSTITUTION:The lens 1 (plastic lens) made of a synthetic resin which is preferable for use as the spectacles frame is subjected to boring to form a lens fitting hole 3 and a hollow groove 4 for fitting and fixing the lens is worked over the entire inside peripheral face of the hole 3. The lens is then cut along an outside shape line 6 of the spectacles frame 5, by which the specta cles frame 5 having a desired shape is formed. The spectacles frame 5 fitting and holding the lens cut from the plastic lens 1 in the above-mentioned manner has the same curvature as the curvature of the lens. Spectacles are constituted by using two pieces of such spectacles frames 5. The frames are fixed to frames 7 made of metals or others having nose pieces, side pieces, etc. in this case.
