The device comprises a chamber 22 consisting of a diametrically widened part of the passage run 5 in which the thimble 15 is arranged. A valve 31 fitted freely in the chamber 22 around the thimble 15 consists of at least two resilient blades 40 comprising end bearing components 42 of frustoconical shape. The chamber 22 comprises a frustoconical wall 25 against which the bearing components 42 of the valve 31 come to bear when a fluid traverses the passage run 5. These bearing components 42 then move closer to support the thimble 15 transversely. Simultaneously, the flow of the fluid in the passage run 5 is reduced to a very low, or even nil value. <IMAGE>
