PURPOSE:To efficiently produce and transmit ultrasonic wave by bonding a piezo-electric vibrator on the end face of a sound field medium using a conductive bonding agent and using the bonding layer in common as an internal electrode of the vibrator. CONSTITUTION:An ultrasonic vibrator 2 is bonded on the end face of a sound field medium 4 (object), and generated ultrasonic wave is transmitted efficiently in the sound field medium. Electrically insulating material such as silicone resin, cyanoacrylic resin, epoxy resin, etc., is used for such acoustic bonding agent. An electrode 1 is attached on the end face of the sound field medium, and a piezo-electric vibrator is bonded on it, and voltage is applied between the surface electrode of the vibrator and end face electrode of the sound field medium through the bonding layer. In this method, the specific permittivity of the bonding layer is extremely small than the specific permittivity of the piezo-electric vibrator, accordingly, the small electrostatic capacity enters the piezo-electric vibrator in series even when the bonding layer is made as thin as possible, and it is not possible to apply sufficient voltage to the vibrator, and excitation becomes inefficient. Thus, efficiency of generation of ultrasonic wave and efficiency of transmission of generated ultrasonic wave to the sound field medium can be improved.
