<p>The bulb-planting machine comprises similar planting units on a common frame on supporting and driving wheels.Each unit has a seed nozzle with an adjustable opening in its V-shaped bottom, and a drum-type planter at lower level. The planters are on a common shaft in the frame and driven from the wheels, and there is a sloping floor between each nozzle and planter. Seed guides and shares are mounted via a spring lever mechanism on the frame below the planters. All planters are contained in a common cylindrical block and can be adjusted along the common shaft (13), being separated by distance rings. The floor (17) slopes at an angle greater than the friction of the material planted, its rear end being in a loading trough (18) common to all planters in a section. The trough bottom comprises curved covers (19) round the planters, with openings between them of the width of one drum. The covers are adjustable on a support (20), on the common frame and on a restrictor (21) equipped with elastic strips (41).</p> |
