PURPOSE:To attain the recording and the reproducing of a bit of analog information, such as the recording of a sound signal in a cassette tape, etc., by making an IC card perform the digital recording of the sound signal, and providing a function to take out and reproduce the sound signal recorded in the IC card on an IC card reader/writer. CONSTITUTION:A sound recording circuit 10 converts an inputted sound signal having a constant level with the control of a central control circuit 19 from an analog signal to a digital signal in order, and outputs the digital signal corresponding to the sound signal inputted through a microphone 7, filling up an omitted part in a converted digital signal. An outputted digital signal is inputted to a memory I/O circuit 15, and an input to the memory part 3 of an IC card 2 is performed. An address counter 20 counts an address to be used in a memory part. A sound reproduction circuit 11 stores the digital signal temporarily at a RAM 12, and converts in order the digital signal to the sound signal, and corrects the sound signal to the one having a normal level for sound emitting through the second interface circuit 14, and through the second amplifier circuit 16, an amplification is applied, then vocalization being performed through a speaker 17.
