PURPOSE:To use cut paper as transfer paper and to prevent solvent vapor from leaking by providing a conveyance member which has its conveyance direction almost horizontally in a fixing device, and also providing a heating means and a negative pressure means which produces negative pressure in the fixing device. CONSTITUTION:A container 34 is provided below a belt 22 and a solvent 36 for fixation is charged therein. Then, a heater H3 for solvent heating is provided at the bottom part of the container 34 to vaporize the solvent 36. A cooling pipe 40 is provided at an upstream side of an air discharge fan 38 provided nearby a send-in port 42, so the solvent component in the solvent vapor is condensed by a cooling pipe 40 and stored in the recovery container 42. Therefore, negative pressure is maintained in the fixing device and no solvent is contained in air discharged through a fan. A heater H1 prevents solvent vapor from being condensed on the belt 22 and a heater H2 prevents vapor from being condensed inside a frame 20. Consequently, cut forms are usable and solvents vapor is prevented from leaking.
