PURPOSE:To restore filter function easily in a short period of time by injecting high-speed water flow against the area around the root of hollow yarn for cleaning a hollow yarn filter module forming a side pipe which leads purified water from the end of opening of hollow yarn bundle provided in parallel with water to be treated to the outside of piping. CONSTITUTION:A hollow yarn bundle 2 of U-shape or with one end closed is fixed inside of a straight pipe 1 almost in parallel with the straight pipe by a fixing component 3, the opening end of hollow yarn bundle being maintained open, and a water flow injection nozzle 4 is installed on a hollow yarn filter module equipped with a side pipe 5 leading purified water from the opening end of hollow yarn bundle 2 to the outside of straight pipe 1. For cleaning the said module, the module is kept filled with water or water to be treated and a high-speed water flow is injected against the area around the root of hollow yarn bundle 2 through the water injection nozzle 4. Impurities adhered to the external surface of hollow yarn is washed away to restore filter function of the module.
